Kaizer Chiefs have announced the marquee signing of Bafana Bafana star Keagan Dolly and the capture of former Bidvest Wits midfielder Cole Alexander.

Chiefs have been busy rebuilding their squad following the completion of a two-window transfer ban and have now brought in their ninth and 10th new arrivals by announcing the double signing on Tuesday afternoon.

Both players join the club as free agents with Dolly having seen his contract run down with French club Montpellier, while Alexander had mutually agreed to terminate his contract with Indian side Odisha FC after coach Stuart Baxter left the Indian side to rejoin Chiefs.

The signing of 27-year-old Dolly will undoubtedly be the biggest news of the window so far, with the Naturena hierarchy managing to fight off interest from Europe and North Africa to convince the former Mamelodi Sundowns forward to join the club.

Following several arrivals at the club, Chiefs will now be looking to offload a number of stars with the likes of Willard Katsande, Brylon Petersen, Philani Zulu, Siphosakhe Ntiya-Ntiya and Kgotso Moleko all expected to leave.
