With the footballing world in lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic, Mamelodi Sundowns defender Thapelo Morena has used the time to step up his return from injury.
The defending Absa Premiership champions may be in total lockdown with the training ground shut and players working at home in isolation, but the 26-year-old defender is still working hard to recover from the ankle injury he picked up against SuperSport United last month.
The news comes as a boost for Pitso Mosimane, who is hoping to chase down league-leaders Kaizer Chiefs when the league resumes and jumps straight into the final stretch of the campaign.
The road to recovery starts now!

With Chiefs four points clear at the summit, Downs have been looking to use the enforced break to refresh their players and Morena looks to be taking advantage of the break.
The club’s official Twitter account commented: ‘Some good news Masandawana, Thapelo is making great progress in his recovery with his cast coming off today and being replaced with a moon boot.’
