Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has turned his attention back towards the MTN8 as the Brazilians prepare to face Bidvest Wits in the cup final.
Sundowns are poised for a crucial set of fixtures both domestically and abroad as they face Wits for a chance to bag their first silverware of the new season, while the side has also progressed to the Caf Champions League final where they come up against Zamalek.
‘We played Chippa on Wednesday it was a tough game. We wanted to score an early goal but it didn’t work,’ Mosimane told the media, reports SoccerLaduma.
‘Then on Saturday we played another tough game against Zesco, where we managed to score that early goal which we wanted and it worked for us, but it was a tough game as well,’ he added, highlighting the side’s many commitments.
Nevertheless, the former Bafana Bafana coach insists the side are completely focused on their upcoming game against last season’s runners-up in the Premiership.
‘All our games are getting tough but we are prepared to do well in all of them and our next focus is the MTN8 finals against Wits, which will be another tough game which we want to win,’ Mosimane concluded.
The final will be played on Saturday, October 1.
The action will get underway at 17:00 from the Mbombela Stadium.
