Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane believes his side are playing Kaizer Chiefs at the wrong time in the season.

The Brazilians are placed fifth in the Absa Premiership standings with 34 points, and have won 10 out of 17 matches played so far this season, trailing fourth place Amakhosi by two points.
Mosimane’s side currently have four games in hand over the Glamour Boys, but Steve Komphela’s side will be hoping to extend their nine-match unbeaten run in the Absa Premiership on Saturday.
The opponent’s coach, Pitso Mosimane, felt that his side would be the underdogs come Saturday in their mouthwatering fixture against Amakhosi, having won two of their last five matches in the Absa Premiership.
‘Out of the least three league matches, we won one, we drew one and we lost one. This is, for us, not the right time to play Chiefs,’ Mosimane told the Kaizer Chiefs website.
‘A game of this magnitude doesn’t need any motivation.’
Kaizer Chiefs will now take on Mamelodi Sundowns when the Absa Premiership returns on Saturday.
The match at the FNB Stadium kicks off at 20:15.
