Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has hailed the signing of a ‘good young prospect’ in Lesedi Kapinga, after the Brazilians finally confirmed his arrival at the club.

Kapinga officially became a Sundowns player yesterday, but his move to the club has been one of the worst kept secrets in the league.

Kapinga, whose contract came to an end with Black Leopards earlier this week, was unveiled by Sundowns on Thursday, with the Chloorkop-based club confirming that they have secured his services on a five-year deal.

The 25-year-old will however have to wait for the the transfer window opens for him to be registered to play for the Brazilians.

Speaking on the wingers arrival, Mosimane admitted that the forward fits the profile of player which the club having been looking for,

“Lesedi is a good young prospect and we are looking at getting as many young players as we can. He fits the programme with his age and the style of play. He is the type of player who likes combination play and loves one on one and taking defenders on. He scores goals also and I wish him all the best,” Mosimane said on the club’s official website.
