Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane says believes he can utilise new signing Lyle Lakay in three different positions.

The 26-year-old winger completed his move to Sundowns from Cape Town City after putting pen to paper on a three-year deal to put an end to speculation surrounding his future.
Lakay will face stiff competition for the place in the Sundowns starting line up from the likes of Themba Zwane, Gaston Sirino, Aubrey Ngoma and George Lebese at left wing, and Tebogo Langerman and Siyabonga Zulu at left back.
Mosimane believes Lakay ‘fits the model’ of fullback but is confident he can use the former SuperSport United player at left wing, left midfielder or left back when needed.
‘I believe we can use him in three positions. I just don’t like players who play one position. You must play two positions,’ Mosimane told KickOff.com.
‘He can play left-back, he can play left wing and also if we play a three-man midfield he can play on the left side of the midfield. He has a very good work rate and he has the speed that we want, especially for left-back.’
‘It’s part of the agreement and he knows. It’s like Thapelo Morena, we brought him as a winger. They fit the model of fullbacks and that’s how we play. That’s the way it is.’
Lakay became Sundowns fourth signing during the current transfer window following the arrival of Andile Jali, Toni Silva and Jose Ali Meza.
