Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane said that Bidvest Wits showed more hunger to win the game in their 1-0 win against the reigning Absa Premiership champions.
Masandawana relinquished their spot at the summit of the table following their loss at the Bidvest Stadium on Saturday night, with Ben Motshwari’s first-half header separating the two teams.

The Chloorkop based-outfit’s mentor lamented his side’s inability to take their chances, but acknowledged the effort put in by Gavin Hunt’s side.
‘I think it was a game of missed chances from both sides, but I think we had more in the first half,’ he said in post-match comments.
‘To be honest, in the first half they wanted it more than us, they fought more, they had a bigger fight than us in the first half.
‘It’s football, you have to accept it. We had chances but we didn’t take them.
‘Football is not about should have and could have, the ball must go inside the net. We’ve been having a good run, we’ve been scoring a lot of goals and only conceded one

‘Tonight, you are ungrateful or unfair to the players if you want to complain about conceding one goal in six games. We still have six games to go,’ he concluded.
Wits are one point adrift of second-placed Sundowns, who face Platinum Stars in their following Absa Premiership encounter, while the Clever Boys face Orlando Pirates.
