Kaizer Chiefs football manager Bobby Motaung says he is delighted that the club managed to secure the services of Colombian striker Leonardo Castro.

The 28-year-old was officially unveiled by Amakhosi on Monday afternoon after spending two-and-a-half seasons at Chloorkop.

Castro netted 16 goals with eight assists from 62 appearances in all competitions during his time at Chloorkop.

Motaung says he is happy that Amakhosi finally captured the services of a player who will bolster their attacking department.

‘It is not a secret that we have been in the market for a striker and are delighted that we have found a player of Castro’s quality,’ Motaung told his club’s website.

‘He will certainly add more firepower to the talent we have in our striking department.’
