The 28-year-old joined the Buccaneers during the January transfer window from Zambian outfit Zanaco and has since scored three goals with two assists from 14 appearances in all competitions last season.

Mulenga has refrained from putting any pressure on himself, but insists he will continue working hard to achieve his personal target for the season.

‘This coming season, I know that the fans are going to expect a lot from me. What I can say is that I’m not putting pressure on myself because I know what they want,’ Mulenga told KickOff.com.

‘What I can do is just to work hard, push and do what I can because I’ve got qualities and I can deliver anything, so I’m not under pressure.

‘My target this year is that I want to score more than 10 goals – that’s what I can say, I can’t promise much, but more than 10 goals.’

He added: ‘I can’t say that I’ll score 15 or 20 [goals], I just want more than 10.

‘I know how the South African league is now, and Justin [Shonga] is the one who has helped me adapt fast. I know the guys because most of the time we analyse the teams, so I can say that I know them.’
