Chippa United COO Lukhanyo Mzinzi says the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium is ready to host Baroka in the Absa Premiership on Tuesday.
Their Absa Premiership encounter against Baroka will be their first match of the year following the Christmas break and Africa Cup of Nations with the final being played on Sunday.
Mzinzi says there is a lot of hype ahead of their clash against the newly promoted side, which he says he is looking forward too.
‘The vibe ahead of the year opener against Baroka has been electrifying people in the Nelson Mandela Metro and beyond can’t wait to watch their favourite team again,’ Mzinzi told the Chippa United website.
‘There is a lot of interest for the game on Tuesday and from the Club’s point of view it’s all systems go.’
The clubs COO believes that the club has made good signings during the January transfer window to bolster their squad ahead of the second half of the season.
‘We have no doubt the players we have brought to the Club are going to help us move forward. We always endeavour to support the Technical team in line with our objectives as the Club and we are delighted with the business we have made this transfer window,’ he added.
Chippa United will now welcome Baroka to the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in the Absa Premiership on Tuesday.
Kick-off has been scheduled for 19:30.
