Siphesihle Ndlovu has not yet signed a pre-contract with Mamelodi Sundowns despite media reports suggesting otherwise, according to Maritzburg United coach Fadlu Davids.

The highly rated midfielder was said to have signed for Masandawana, following in the footsteps of teammate Lebohang Maboe, who joined Pitso Mosimane’s side last season.

Davids, however, has rubbished reports claiming that Ndlovu has already completed his imminent move to Chloorkop.

The Team of Choice head coach has revealed that the club will not stand in the way of Ndlovu amid talk of interest from Masandawana.

‘We understand that, as a club, to survive financially, we have to let them go,’ he is quoted as saying by Phakaaathi.

‘A few years ago, Maboe and Ndlovu were nobodies but it is normal that they would want to take their careers to another level and for other teams to want them in their squads,’ he concluded.
