Mamelodi Sundowns right back Anele Ngcongca believe his vast experience can play a big role in helping his side clinch a record 10th league title.
The 32-year-old spent eight years at Belgian outfit KRC Gene before signing for Masandawana in 2016.
Ngcongca has since become one of the key members of the Brazilians squad, having made scored two goals and assisting a further two from 97 appearances across all competitions since joining Sundowns.
Speaking about the prospect of clinching another Premier Soccer League (PSL) winners medal, Ngcongca understands that it will be a fight till the end.
‘It’s not easy because first off all you must focus on your game then try to help others at the back and communication is vital,’ Ngcongca told his club’s official website.
‘My experience is helping me a lot and we have a good understanding at the back with the guys and they listen and it makes my job easier, and we encourage one another.’
Over the course of his career, Ngcongca has found the back of the net 10 times and assisted a further 17 from 400 appearances in all competitions playing in Belgium, France and South Africa.
