Former Bidvest Wits and Ajax Cape Town striker Prince Nxumalo looks set to part ways with Premier Soccer League (PSL) outfit Baroka.
The 29-year-old forward joined Bakgaga last year October on a short-term contract as a free agent after parting ways with the Clever Boys.
The former FC Cape Town striker managed to score two goals and featured 10 times across all competitions for Baroka before the season was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.
However, Baroka chairman Khurisi Mphahlele has confirmed that the club will not extend the striker’s contract, which is set to expire in June 2020.
‘Nxumalo’s contract is going to end in June. There is nothing secret about that. But we will not be renewing it anymore,’ Mphahlele told Isolezwe.
Over the course of his career, Nxumalo has scored 24 goals and assisted a further seven from 86 appearances in all competitions playing for the likes of Bidvest Wits, Ajax Cape Town, Lamontville Golden Arrows, SuperSport United and Baroka.
