Ajax Cape Town striker Nathan Paulse says he is looking forward to adding to his goal tally during the second half of the Absa Premiership season.
The 34-year-old has been an integral part of the Urban Warriors set up, having scored four goals in nine appearances in the Absa Premiership so far this season.
Paulse says he is now looking forward to a having a successful second half of the 2016-17 season with the Urban Warriors.
‘It is good to back, hopefully, in the second round of fixtures I can get some more game time,” Paulse told the Ajax Cape Town website.
‘I am still the top scorer at the club this season and hopefully, I can add to that.’
The veteran striker, who is close to racking up 250 appearances for Ajax, insists he is looking forward to donning the Urban Warriors jersey for many more years to come.
‘No, I haven’t looked back yet at how many games I’ve played or goals I’ve scored, I just enjoy every single day that I am still able to play and give my all,’ He added.
‘I am not done yet, even though people might look at my age – I am still fit and hungry, I don’t look back, I look forward…I’m looking forward to maybe another 250 games, who knows?’
Ajax Cape Town will next travel to the Bidvest Stadium when they play Bidvest Wits in the Absa Premiership on February 7.
Kick-off has been scheduled for 19:30.
