Orlando Pirates have confirmed that a deal has been reached with Bidvest Wits for the signing of striker Gabadinho Mhango.
Pirates have enjoyed a fruitful off-season so far as they confirmed the signings of French goalkeeper Joris Delle, as well as Kabelo Dlamini, Bongani Sam, Fortune Makaringe, Siphesihle Ndlovu, Tebogo Tlolane and Tshegofatso Mabasa earlier in the week.
The Soweto giants have now taken their signings total to eight after revealing that they have agreed to a deal with Wits for the Malawian striker, despite interest from Kaizer Chiefs.

The club confirmed the news with a statement on their website on Wednesday, saying that Mhango will link up with his new teammates on Thursday.
‘The 26-year-old Malawian international will undergo a medical tomorrow and join his new teammates for the afternoon training session.
‘Orlando Pirates Football Club would like to thank Wits’ management for the professional manner that these negotiations were conducted,’ read the statement.
Pirates have had to release a number of players in order to make room for all their new signings. The likes of Thabo Matlaba, Gladwin Shitolo, Phetso Maphanga, Diamond Thopola and Caio Marcelo have all left the club, with more departures expected.
