Orlando Pirates suffered their first defeat at the hands of Chippa United, while TS Galaxy secured a comfortable victory over SuperSport United in the DStv Premiership on Sunday.

Orlando Pirates were forced to endure their first defeat of the campaign after they suffered a 1-0 defeat to Chippa United at the Orlando Stadium on Sunday evening.

A 86th minute goal for Abdi Banda earned his side all three points away from home and head coach Daine Klate his first win of the season.

The defeat leaves the Buccaneers in eighth place on the table with four points from three matches, while the Chilli Boys have moved up to 10th position with the same number of points after three matches.

TS Galaxy 2-0 SuperSport United

TS Galaxy cruised to back to back wins in the DStv Premiership following their 2-0 victory over SuperSport United at the Mbombela Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Spiwe Msimango opened the scoring for the Rockets late in the first half before Ebrahim Seedat rounded off the scoring in the 66th minute to hand Galaxy maximum points on home soil.

The victory sees TS Galaxy move up to second place in the league standings with seven points from three matches, while SuperSport have dropped down to 14th place on the table with one point after three matches.
