The international break has come at the perfect time for Orlando Pirates with a number of players receiving medical treatment.
Gift Motupa, Thabo Rakhale and Siyabonga Mpontshane are among those receiving medical treatment.
According to the Orlando Pirates medical team, Rakhale is nearing full recovery from a hamstring strain and looks likely to be available for selection in the Absa Premiership match against his former employers, Polokwane City.
Mpontshane is still receiving treatment for a knee injury which he suffered in the MDC defeat to Maritzburg United last week. Mpontshane is expected to be out for about a week.
The club also confirmed that Motupa is continuing to receive treatment on his injured hamstring and will most likely miss the upcoming league encounter.
Gladwin Shitolo is currently three weeks away from joining full training while Nkosinathi Mthiyane has started light jogging with the biokineticist and is expected to be out for another two weeks.
