Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has highlighted the areas where he needs to strengthen his team for the upcoming season.
The 55-year-old mentor has already brought in the likes of midfielders George Maluleka and Grant Margeman, as well as goalkeeper Jody February.
Meanwhile, Sundowns have also been linked with a move for Maritzburg shotstopper Richard Ofori and Black Leopard midfielder Lesedi Kapinga.
However, Mosimane has identified players he wants to sign, but added that it would be difficult to bring their top transfer targets to the club.
‘It’s always the area of scoring goals. It’s the most critical part of the team,’ Mosimane said when quizzed on transfer targets.
‘We know the players we want. If it was possible, but you know transfers are not easy. If it was possible, we would do it now.
‘We have highlighted who we want. Of course, we are not going to get everybody we want and there is Plan A and Plan B.
‘Last year we signed two players. This year we need to get a little more.’
The Brazilians are currently placed second in the Absa Premiership standings with 44 points from 21 games, four points behind log leaders Kaizer Chiefs.
