Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane believes that experienced left back Tebogo Langerman fits his role at the Brazilians like a glove.
The Sundowns left back, who celebrates his 34th birthday today, has been a unwavering force in the Brazilians backline, racking up 259 appearances, while scoring seven goals and assisting a further 24 goals since joining the club back in July 2012.
Meanwhile, this season for Sundowns, Langerman has created 24 chances, delivered 78 crosses and averaged to 3.7 per 90 minutes on the pitch.
With over 10 years of experience playing in the South African top flight, Langerman has won five PSL Titles, two Telkom Knockout Cups, one Caf Champions League and Caf Super Cup medal.
‘We have seen all the left backs, we do our research all the time. Langerman fits perfectly into our game model,’ Mosimane told his club’s official website.
Over the course of his career, Langerman has bagged 40 goals and assisted a further 31 from 342 appearances in all competitions playing for the likes of Bidvest Wits, SuperSport United and Mamelodi Sundowns.
