Pitso Mosimane has launched a scathing attack on Luc Eymael, claiming that the Belgian lacks integrity and wants the coaching job at Kaizer Chiefs.
The Free State Stars mentor has been previously linked with the Chiefs job, with speculation having intensified following the resignation of Steve Komphela.
‘Somewhere‚ somehow‚ the ethics are not there,’ Mosimane told Times Live.
‘It sounds like he’ll do anything to coach at Chiefs.’
Eymael’s name has reportedly been linked with a number of vacancies in the PSL, with Chiefs and SuperSport United said to have been in contact with him.
‘You can say this team and that team (want you).
‘There are only two teams left that he is still to name [who wants him] and that’s Barcelona and Real Madrid‚’ Mosimane sarcastically quipped.
The Free Stats Stars mentor said his relationship with Komphela has broken down since the former Bafana Bafana captain’s departure from the club.
‘Before the rumours surfaced‚ we were talking as coaches‚ but now we are no longer talking to each other.
‘These rumours have created [a] rivalry between the Chiefs coach and myself. I didn’t do anything wrong but perhaps he thinks I did something wrong.
‘I cannot avoid people gossiping and I also cannot tell the journalists what to write.
‘Until now‚ I haven’t been contacted by either Chiefs or SuperSport United‚ but in the last few months I was called by maybe four PSL clubs and I said no,’ he concluded.
