Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane is relishing the chance to add the Telkom Knockout Cup title to his trophy cabinet.
The Brazilians are set to welcome AmaZulu to the Lucas Moripe Stadium when the two sides meet in the last-16 of the knockout competition.
Mosimane insists that his side do not need luck to win the Telkom Knockout Cup as he believes in their ‘ambitious and sophisticated programme’ they run at the club.
‘This trophy is important for a few reasons. It’s for our supporters, to create confidence in the club and to win a trophy,’ Mosimane told his club’s official website.
‘We run a very ambitious and sophisticated programme and it’s influenced by our targets. We have sleepless nights and there is pressure to analyse the games that are coming.
‘In football there’s nothing like luck, when you coach a team like Mamelodi Sundowns your social life is zero. There’s more heat at Sundowns.’
The match at the Lucas Moripe Stadium is scheduled to kick off at 3pm.
