Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has once again tipped Kaizer Chiefs to win the Absa Premiership title this season.
The Glamour Boys are currently on an eight-game winning run in the league and currently sit at the top of the standings with 34 points from 13 games.
Meanwhile, Sundowns currently occupy third place on the league table, with 21 points from 11 matches played so far this season.
Mosimane believes that Amakhosi stand a good chance of clinching the league title as they he believes they are well rested after every game as they only participated in the PSL, while Sundowns are competing in all competitions.
‘I tip Kaizer Chiefs to win because I always say they are a well-rested team. They play every Sunday,’ Mosimane told the media.
‘So, they have a good run and no disturbance. They have a chance. I said it about Wits the other time. Now us and Wits, no [chance]. Wits and Sundowns, they must be careful.
‘Games in hand are not games won. They [Wits] played against Highlands Park and you saw how difficult it is when you come back from Mozambique. You don’t have time.’
Mamelodi Sundowns will return to Absa Premiership action when they welcome Stellenbosch FC to Loftus Stadium on Wednesday, with kick-off set for 7:30pm.
