Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane admits he would sign former Kaizer Chiefs forward Knowledge Musona if he is available for transfer.
The Zimbabwe captain is out of favour at Belgian giants Anderlecht and reportedly among 10 players the club plans to sell during the January transfer window to make good the €21 million they’ve already spent.
Since joining Anderlecht in 2018, Musona has managed to score only one goal and made eight appearances in the Belgian top flight.
However, Mosimane is keen to bulk up his attacking options and has been keeping tabs on Musona.
‘Would you have Knowledge Musona if he is available? Yes, of course, why not if he is available,’ Mosimane told Far Post.
‘Yeah, he’s the kind of player that I would take because I know he scores goals and he’s a fighter, you know he’s like Khama Billiat – he’s strong, his attitude is right, he’s a good player. So, if we can get him, yes, why not, I would like to have him.’
