Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has revealed that the club has already made three new signings to strengthen their squad for next season.
The Brazilians were eliminated from the Caf Champions League at the quarter-final stages after suffering a 3-1 aggregate defeat to Egyptian giants Al Ahly.
However Mosimane is already preparing for the next season after confirming that he already signed three new players after striker Mauricio Affonso was ruled out for the rest of the current campaign.
‘We have made new signings, just that you don’t know, we don’t say,’ Mosimane told reporters.
‘We have made signings that I have recommended and the club has gone with them. So we have strengthened the team for next year.
‘We have two more. We have three players already signed but we can’t talk. That will be a better team in next year’s Champions League.’
Mamelodi Sundowns will be hoping to bounce back when they welcome Orlando Pirates to Loftus Versfled Stadium on 17 March, with kick-off set for 7:30pm.
