After Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Oupa Manyisa sustained a season-ending injury, players have reacted on Twitter to support the veteran.
The 31-year-old was forced off the field during Sundowns’ 4-2 defeat by Kaizer Chiefs in the Shell Helix Ultra Cup at the FNB Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Manyisa was unable to continue the game and was substituted in the first half after suffering an achilles injury and had to be replaced by club captain Hlompho Kekana.
The Gauteng-born midfielder has struggled for game time at Sundowns and has only managed to feature twice for them so far this season, both appearances coming in the Caf Champions League.
