The Premier Soccer League has confirmed the start date for the 2022-23 season, while also revealing on which dates the league will pause for the Fifa World Cup.
With the dust having settled from the 2021-22 campaign and the teams all returning for pre-season the league have released all the important dates ahead of the 2022-23 season.
The season will be affected by the Fifa World Cup which has been moved from its normal dates in June/July to November/December to accommodate for the heat in the host country Qatar.

The PSL confirmed the DStv Premiership will get under way on 5 August 2022, while the newly revamped Motsepe Foundation Championship kicks off in the first week of September.
The league has also confirmed there will be a break when the 2022 World Cup begins, with the last match taking place on the weekend of 4 November.
The DStv Premiership season will conclude on 20 May, a week before the Nedbank Cup final.
