The race for the Golden Boot is heating up with the likes of Gabadinho Mhango and Bongi Ntuli currently leading the goal-scoring charts after round 17 in the Absa Premiership.
After the conclusion of game week 16 of the Absa Premiership, two players are tied at the top of the goal-scoring charts with 10 goals apiece: Orlando Pirates forward Gabadinho Mhango and Bongi Ntuli of AmaZulu.
Highlands Park’s top goal-scorer, Peter Shalulile, is second with nine goals from 17 matches played so far this season.
Samir Nurkovic and Knox Mutizwa are both on eight goals, while Kermit Erasmus and Bradley Grobler have found the back of the net on seven occasions.
Making up the bottom of the list is Leonard Castro, Themba Zwane, Tshegofatso Mabaso and Waseem Isaacs, who are tied with six goals each.
