Stellenbosch FC came from behind to snatch a point from SuperSport United in Atteridgeville, while Highlands Park and Cape Town City played out to a goalless draw over the weekend.

Saturday, 30 November:

SuperSport United vs Stellenbosch FC

Stellenbosch FC fought back to earn a 1-1 draw with SuperSport United at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville.

The draw moved Matsatsantsa up to the second place in the league standings with 21 points, while Stellies remained 14th.

Cape Town City vs Highlands Park

Cape Town City and Highlands Park were forced to share the spoils after playing out to a goalless draw at the Cape Town Stadium.

The stalemate dropped the Citizens down to 11th place with 13 points, while the Lions of the North moved up to sixth place on the log with 17 points after 13 matches played so far this season.

Black Leopards vs Golden Arrows

Black Leopards came back to secure a 2-1 victory over Lamontville Golden Arrows at the Thohoyandou Stadium.

The victory took Lidoda Duvha up to ninth place in the league standings with 15 points, while Abafana Bes’thende remained fourth with 20.

Polokwane City vs Bloemfontein Celtic

Bloemfontein Celtic returned to winning ways after securing a narrow 1-0 victory over Polokwane City at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.

The victory took Phunya Sele Sele to the fifth spot on the log with 17 points from 12 games, while Rise and Shine dropped down to 13th place with 13 points.

Sunday, 1 December:

AmaZulu vs Maritzburg United

AmaZulu and Maritzburg United were forced to share the spoils after playing out to a goalless draw in the KwaZulu-Natal derby at the King Zwelithini Stadium in Umlazi.

The result leaves Usuthu in 15th place in the standings with 12 points from 13 games, two points and five places behind the Team of Choice, who currently occupy 10th place.

Chippa United vs Baroka

Baroka walked away with a point after they shared the spoils with Chippa United following their goalless draw at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth.

The result ends the Chilli Boys winning run in the league and leaves them at the foot of the log with 11 points from 13 games, while Bakgaga moved up to 12th position with 13 points after 13 matches played.
