Cape Town City midfielder Roland Putsche believes his side are well prepared for their Absa Premiership clash against Black Leopards on Sunday, writes DYLAN APPOLIS.
The Citizens will be high in confidence heading into their next home encounter after comfortably defeating AmaZulu 3-0 in their last Absa Premiership game at Cape Town Stadium on 27 October.
The 27-year-old has become a key player in the Citizens midfield since joining the club two seasons ago and has already made 11 appearances in all competitions while scoring once and assisting a further goal.
Putsche admits that he is glad to be playing Leopards at home and will be hoping to continue their winning form against the newly promoted outfit.
‘Luckily it’s at home. I’ve heard that it’s quite a mission to play them [Black Leopards] away, but let’s see how it goes,’ Putsche said.
‘We haven’t played too many games recently to be honest, and I’m quite interested in what the coaches’ analysis for the game is going to be.
‘I’m sure that after our last performance at Cape Town Stadium, we are well prepared for them.’
Cape Town City against Black Leopards kicks off at 3:30pm on Sunday.
