Castro signed for the Glamour Boys in January while Billiat made the much-publicised switch from Downs just a month ago.

The Soweto giants are also currently assessing former Sundowns defender-cum-midfielder, Mzikayise Mashaba.

Speaking at the MTN8 launch event, Mphahlele admitted that he is excited to be reunited with two players of Castro and Billiat’s quality but assured fans of the Chloorkop based club that he had nothing to do with them joining the Soweto Giants.
