Kaizer Chiefs defender Reeve Frosler believes his side has the potential to go all the way in the Nedbank Cup.

The Glamour Boys are scheduled to take on TS Galaxy in the Round of 32 when the two sides square off at the FNB Stadium on Saturday, 12 February.

Frosler, who joined Amakhosi three years ago, is gearing up to make his 74th appearance for the club when they face the Rockets.

“It’s almost exactly three years since I joined the club. It’s been a good three years. I am happy to have renewed my contract and to continue to be part of this big institution, Frosler told his club’s official website.

“Things will start getting better and we are hoping to start winning trophies. We’ve got TS Galaxy in the Nedbank Cup, and we have the potential to go all the way. We will take it one game at a time and try and do our best.”

Frosler is roaring to get the campaign back underway, having been on a break before returning to the Chiefs camp on Stellenbosch.

“I enjoyed the mid-season break and being away from Johannesburg,” he added.

“A lot of guys needed a break. It was a nice break for us and we have come back fresh with a good mindset to kickstart the second half of the season.

“Hopefully, we continue from where we left off and continue to do well for the rest of the season.”

The Amakhosi defender concluded by stating that although the team he supports (Morocco) are out of the Africa Cup of Nations, he believes Egypt will walk away with the title.

“My team Morocco is no more involved,” he added. “I think Egypt will go all the way.”
