The Buccaneers enjoyed most of the possession in the opening 10 minutes of the game without much incident until Mabaso earned himself a caution following his late tackle on Mbatha.
Many would argue that the 23-year-old striker should have been sent off for his studs-up challenge as it would have affected the rest of the match after Mabaso scored a late winner to hand Pirates a 1-0 win over Highlands.
