Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Khayelihle Shozi believes his time will come to establish himself in Pitso Mosimane’s first team.

The 23-year-old has already enjoyed loan spells at SuperSport United, Black Leopards and Richards Bay since earning a promotion to the Brazilians’ first team during the 2015-16 campaign.

Shozi says he’ll continue to improve and remain positive in the hopes of making it into the Brazilians’ starting lineup.

‘As people, success doesn’t come to us all at once. I cannot compare myself with Percy Tau because Percy has established himself,’ Shozi told KickOff.com.

‘What is important for me is to remain positive. I don’t think you can run out of time if you play football. Everything happens in its own time, so I’m not in a rush.

‘As long I’m playing and keep improving, I feel everything will fall into place.’

The attacking midfielder says he is learning a lot from his spells on loan in the hopes of one day earning a move abroad.

‘Since I’m getting these loans, I think I’m learning a lot at the teams I’m loaned to, and what is key is obviously the game time,’ he added.

‘But my biggest wish is to play overseas. I’m still at Sundowns, as you all know, I’m on loan. I know they are watching most of the games I’m playing, but what is important is to improve all the time as a player.’
