‘I’m very happy, my boys deserved to win the game,’ he said in post-match comments.
‘I want to thank my guys because they played a brilliant game. Everyone played very well today.
‘It’s a pity that we lost [Leonardo] Castro early [to injury] but I have good players on the bench. The players who came in played very well. Bernard Parker, [Philani] Zulu, the performance is very good today from everyone.
‘We created a lot of chances, it’s OK. I’m happy with the result. I’m also happy for our fans. They pushed the players for this result so this victory is for our fans,’ he concluded.
Chiefs’ next league assignment sees them do duty against Solinas’ former side Free State Stars at Goble Park on Tuesday.
