Kaizer Chiefs coach Giovanni Solinas says he was impressed by Andriamirado ‘Dax’ Andrianarimanana’s first start for the club.
The Madagascar international was handed his first start as Amakhosi managed to secure a narrow 1-0 victory over Black Leopards on Wednesday evening.
Since joining Chiefs the 27-year-old has only managed to make a total of three appearances in all competitions.
Solinas admits that Andrianarimanana is not yet fully fit after returning from his injury setback, but remained happy with his performance against Leopards.
‘He played well but it’s been a long time no play [for him],’ Solinas told SuperSport TV after the game.
‘Also “Dax” is coming from injury. The fitness is not top. He can play the 90 minutes. The performance is positive.’
