Kaizer Chiefs coach Giovanni Solinas revealed that Siphiwe Tshabalala is still at the club despite reports linking him with a move to Turkish Super Lig club Erzurumspor, writes DEAN WORKMAN.
Reports began to surface on Wednesday evening that ‘Shabba’ could be on his way to Europe, but Solinas confirmed ― during his pre-match MTN8 semi-final against SuperSport United press conference ― that the midfielder is still at the club.

Solinas was quick to point out he didn’t want to comment on the transfer but revealed the ‘massive respect’ he has for the midfielder.
‘I don’t speak about the transfers of players, I only speak about the players who I have in the squad.
‘Tshabalala was training with my team this morning‚ as normal. Because when they are in Kaizer Chiefs‚ I coach these players – no problem.

‘But I can’t speak about the transfer of players.’
The coach’s reaction to questions on the player has brought further doubt to the validity of the origin of the reports linking Tshabalala with a move.
With Shabba in contention to play against SuperSport United, the player, for the time being at least, looks to be staying at Naturena.
