Orlando Pirates will be without their captain Happy Jele for this weekend’s mammoth Soweto derby against Kaizer Chiefs at the FNB Stadium.

The 32-year-old defender received a red card against Maritzburg United at the Orlando Stadium on Tuesday evening.

The lanky defender was first booked for a foul on Jeremy Brockie before picking up his second yellow card for a tackle on Thabiso Kutumela.

Jele received his marching orders and will now serve a suspension for their upcoming clash with the Buccaneers at the FNB Stadium on Saturday, with kick-off set for 3:30pm.
