Kaizer Chiefs meet Orlando Pirates for the second time in the space of a week, and Ernst Middendorp will be hoping they can continue their current form against the Buccaneers.
The two sides will meet for the second time in the space of seven days after Amakhosi beat Pirates 4-2 on penalties in the Telkom Knockout quarter-finals last weekend.
In-form shot-stopper Daniel Akpeyi looks set to return to the Amakhosi starting lineup and will come in to replace Bruce Bvuma, who started ahead of the Nigerian during their 2-0 win over Chippa United on Wednesday.
In defence, Yagan Sasman, Reeve Frosler and Eric Mathoho could be restored into the lineup after missing out on their last league encounter against the Chili Boys, while Daniel Cardoso will maintain his place in Amakhosi’s backline.
Willard Katsande will wear the skipper’s armband once again and will be in his natural position at the centre. He could be joined by George Maluleka and Kearyn Baccus, who returned from injury.
In attack, meanwhile, Samir Nurkovic could be in line to continue up front for Chiefs alongside Dumisani Zuma and Leonardo Castro.
