SoccerClub writer DYLAN APPOLIS attempts to predict Kaizer Chiefs’ starting XI for their much-anticipated Soweto derby clash with Orlando Pirates this coming weekend.

The Glamour Boys have a chance to claim back-to-back victories against the Buccaneers in the Absa Premiership this season when they battle it out at the FNB Stadium in the latest edition of the Soweto derby.

Amakhosi are the current leaders in the league standings with a total of 45 points from 20 matches played, with 10 games remaining until the end of the season.

However, Chiefs will be hoping to bounce back after recently suffering back-to-back defeats by Maritzburg United and Highlands Park in the Absa Premiership as well being eliminated from the Nedbank Cup.

Ernst Middendorp will put his faith in the likes of Khama Billiat, Daniel Cardoso and Samir Nurkovic, who is currently joint second on the PSL goal-scoring charts alongside Peter Shalulile on 12 goals each.

The match at the FNB Stadium is scheduled to kick off at 3:30pm on Saturday.
