The Buccaneers’ six-game unbeaten run in the Absa Premiership ended after they suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat by Amakhosi at the FNB Stadium on Saturday through a goal from Lebogang Manyama.

As a result of their defeat, Pirates failed to close the gap on Amakhosi and are now nine points behind the log leaders with eight games left until season’s end.

The Sea Robbers will be hoping return to winning ways when they travel to the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium to face Golden Arrows in their next league clash on Saturday, with kick-off set for 6pm.
