Orlando Pirates coach Milutin Sredojevic believes his side’s legs are unlocked as they prepare to take on SuperSport United tonight.
The Buccaneers have a chance to climb to the summit of the Absa Premiership standings when they welcome Matsatsantsa to the Orlando Stadium.
Pirates current occupy second place in the league standings with 18 points, trailing log leaders by a point, who take on Mamelodi Sundowns at the same time.
‘I would say that I am happy with the win but at the same moment there are so many things to correct with the performance of the team in the times ahead of us,’ Sredojevic told the PSL website.
‘Winning after six matches (of) not winning is something that will boost the morale of the team and move us to improve on our shortcomings. We worked very hard. The mental block that was in front of us, six games without a win, when you have such mental block even the legs are locked.
‘I believe with winning this is how the legs are unlocked and we can play our football. To play good defensively, not allowing the opposition to have chances and dominating in the middle and to convert chances.’
The match at the Orlando Stadium kicks off at 19:30.
