SuperSport United has been boosted by the return of goalkeeper Ronwen Williams after he suffered a shoulder injury back in November last year.
The 26-year-old missed a couple of Absa Premiership matches including the Telkom Cup final against Cape Town City in Polokwane two months ago.
The Bafana Bafana shot-stopper returned from injury and featured in their MultiChoice Diski Challenge match against Highlands Park at Lucas Moripe Stadium on Sunday.
Williams insists he is ready to make his way back into the senior team and help the club gain success in the Absa Premiership, Nedbank Cup and Caf Confederations Cup this season.
‘I feel ready to play and help the team in the league and the Nedbank and Confederation Cups,’ Williams told the SuperSport United website.
The shot-stopper has managed to keep six clean sheets from 12 appearances in all competitions this season before being sidelined with his shoulder injury.
SuperSport United will next take on Free State Stars in the Absa Premiership on Wednesday.
The match at the James Motlatsi Stadium kicks off at 19:30.
