Mamelodi Sundowns will be without seven key players for their Absa Premiership clash with Highlands Park at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Wednesday.
The Brazilians medical team has provided an injury update on seven players, including Jose Ali Meza, who got his name on the scoresheet during their 5-0 victory over AmaZulu in the Telkom Knockout Cup over the weekend.
The Venezuelan forward sustained an ankle injury during their last-16 clash and is currently being assessed by the club’s medical department.
Other players on the injury list include Oupa Manyisa, who recently needed surgery on his achilles tendon, Anthony Laffor, Emiliano Tade and Lucky Mohomi, who continue to rehabilitate their knee injuries.
Meanwhile, Tiyani Mabunda and Keletso Makgalwa (both ankle) are in their second week of training on their way back to full fitness.
