Mamelodi Sundowns have confirmed that six players has experienced minor strains ahead of the resumption of the 2019-20 Premier Soccer League season.
The Brazilians resumed training more than 10 days ago and have been put through their paces by the technical team to get back to full fitness ahead of the league restart.
The last time Sundowns trained was on 17 March as they were preparing for the mouth-watering encounter against Orlando Pirates before the lockdown period.
The PSL teams, however, were preparing for a restart in July but that has now been pushed out to at least August after delays in agreeing terms with Safa.
Sundowns have since confirmed that a few players have experienced minor strains as the medical team works on getting the players back to full strength in preparation for the season restart.
