Mamelodi Sundowns have officially completed the signing of Polokwane City midfielder Sammy Seabi.

Seabi became the Brazilians’ third signing after  the club aquired the services of Mauricio Affonso and Nyiko Mobbie, who will be loaned out for the season.

The 24-year-old will now give coach Pitso Mosimane more options in the middle of the park, along with the likes of Hlompho Kekana, Tiyani Mabunda, Andile Jali, Lucky Mohomi and Oupa Manyisa.

Seabi, who made his Premier Soccer League (PSL) debut in May 2016, was ever present in Rise and Shine’s squad as he helped them to a fifth-place finish in the Absa Premiership last season.

He has made a total of 86 appearances in all competitions for Polokwane, while scoring four goals in the process.

Seabi could make his debut when Sundowns open their Absa Premiership campaign against Tshwane rivals SuperSport United on Saturday afternoon.
