Mamelodi Sundowns were held to a 1-1 draw by Sekhukhune, City, while Cape Town City were forced to share the spoils with rivals Stellenbosch FC in the DStv Premiership on Saturday.

Sekhukhune United 1-1 Mamelodi Sundowns

Mamelodi Sundowns were left frustrated after they were held to a 1-1 draw against Sekhukhune United at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in the DStv Premiership on Saturday afternoon.

Peter Shalulile opened the scoring for Sundowns in the 44th minute before Linda Mntambo levelled matters two minutes later to earn Sekhukhune a point on home soil.

The draw sees Sundowns occupy third place in the league standings with seven points from four games, while Sekhukhune are placed in ninth position with five points from four matches.

Golden Arrows 0-0 TS Galaxy

TS Galaxy maintained their unbeaten start to the DStv Premiership season after they played out to a goalless draw with Golden Arrows at the Princess Magogo Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The draw leaves Golden Arrows in 14th place on the table with two points after four matches, while TS Galaxy moved into second place in the league standings with eight points after four games.

Cape Town City FC 1-1 Stellenbosch FC

Cape Town City were denied their first victory of the DStv Premiership season after Stellenbosch fought back to earn a 1-1 draw at the DHL Stadium on Saturday evening.

City took the lead in the 42nd minute through Darwin Gonzalez before Stellenbosch levelled matters in the 73rd minute courtesy of a goal from Junior Mendieta as both sides shared the spoils in Cape Town.

The draw saw Cape Town City move up from the foot of the table into 15th place with two points after five games, while Stellies dropped to sixth place on the table with six points from four matches.
