SuperSport United have revealed that they are willing to sell prized-asset Jeremy Brockie if they secure the Caf Confederation Cup this season.

Matsatsantsa added to their tag as ‘Cup Kings’, when they came from behind to defeat Cape Town City and lift the MTN8 trophy and this has prompted SuperSport to consider selling Brockie, who is known to be on the radar of cross-town riovals, Mamelodi Sundowns.

The The New Zealander handed in a transfer request in a bid to force his move to Sundowns during the transfer window, but SuperSport declined his request, however the club’s CEO, Stan Matthews, suggested that Brockie could still be sold.

‘If we have have won the Caf Confederation Cup by then, we will be open to offers for Jeremy,’ he said in post-match comments.

‘If we haven’t (won the Confed), maybe we will win the Telkom Knockout. Then we might also be open for offers. This is the third trophy he has won with us and I would like one more. And if he wants a big move, we won’t stand on his waym’ he added.

Matthews also revealed that the club ha decided to gift the players fifty percent of the total earnings for winning the tournament.

‘The players will take half. R4 million will go to the players and the rest will go to our staff.

‘What is nice about SuperSport is that when we win, everybody at the club benefits,’ he concluded.
