Swallows FC have officially confirmed the departure of head coach Brandon Truter following their defeat by Kaizer Chiefs in the DStv Premiership this past Sunday afternoon.
The Dude Birds suffered their six defeat in the DStv Premiership after they fell 3-1 to Amakhosi at the Dobsonville Stadium through a goal from Keagan Dolly and a brace by Khama Billiat.
Swallows have since decided to part ways with Truter and the entire coaching staff with immediate effect after the club dropped down to the bottom of the league standings, with only one win, five draws and six defeats in 12 matches so far this season.
Swallows released the following statement:
“The Management of SwallowsFC held an emergency meeting with the Coaching staff this evening.
“After receiving a report from the Coaching staff, management was further convinced that something drastically need to happen.
“With the team at the rock bottom of the DSTV Premiership, management has resolved that the entire Coaching Staff should not report for duty with immediate effect.
“An interim arrangement will be announced soon.
“We have noted the concerns raised by our supporters. We apologise for the poor performance, please continue supporting the team.”
