Swallows FC have confirmed that coach Brando Truter has returned to the club following a two-week leave spell, which was mutually agreed upon after – what the club called – unsatisfactory developments in the team.
The club announced on Tuesday morning that they had held an emergency meeting with Truter on Monday afternoon where his return to the side was ironed out.
Much has been made of the decision to place the coach on special leave, but things have not got any better during this period with recent 4-0 and 3-0 defeats by Cape Town City FC and Mamelodi Sundowns, respectively.
The coach, however, will now resume control of the team and he will have the two-week international break to work with his side on the training ground.
