Matsatsantsa currently occupy second of bottom in the league standing after failing to walk away with any points at Cap Town Stadium.
Speaking to TFGSoccerClub, Tembo says he can handle any pressure that comes with coaching a club of Matsatsantsa’s calibre.
‘In this job, there is always pressure,’ Tembo said.
‘It doesn’t matter what game you play or where you are in the league, there is pressure. In this game of football, there’s always pressure. But I can take it.’
The 48-year-old coach admits Matsatsantsa need to strengthen their squad in certain departments, declaring they especially need more cover in defence.
‘We are still looking to add players in certain positions in the team. We especially need more cover in defence,’ he revealed.
‘Overall, though, the aim this season is to be better and especially to be more comfortable with regard to our league position. We don’t want to be in a situation where we have to be fighting relegation.’
SuperSport United will be hoping to bounce back when they take on AmaZulu in their next Absa Premiership encounter on Wednesday, with kick-off set for 19:30pm.
